WHOIS Lookup Pro provides WHOIS information for the current website and for domain text selected through Chrome's right-click menu.
When you open the extension, it reads the current tab's domain name and sends that domain over HTTPS to the WHOIS Lookup Pro service. The service forwards the domain to WhoisJSON to retrieve WHOIS data. When you use the right-click menu, the selected domain or text is included in a new whois.com lookup page.
Domains and selected text are used only to provide the WHOIS lookup you request. The extension does not sell this information, use it for advertising, or build browsing profiles.
The extension does not store your browsing history or selected text. The WHOIS Lookup Pro service may cache successful WHOIS responses for up to one hour to reduce paid API requests. WhoisJSON, Cloudflare, whois.com, and PayPal process information according to their own privacy policies when their services are used.
Donations open PayPal in a separate tab. WHOIS Lookup Pro does not collect or process payment details.
